The CDC estimates 50% of all Kenyan children experience physical, emotional, or sexual violence. Abuse and abandonment are multifaceted issues in Kenya.
As a result, it is estimated there are more than 3.6 million Kenyan children under the age of 18 who have been orphaned or are vulnerable.Ā
We believe God calls us all to care for āthe least of theseā and that the Church can make an immense impact in the lives of children in Kenya - providing them hope.
Ways your Church Can Help Rescue a Child
2. Skill-Based Volunteering
Church members can offer their skills and expertise to assist Rehema for Kids. We are seeking pro bono marketing services to help us improve our outreach and visibility. This allows employees to contribute their skills in a meaningful way toward a larger purpose.
To discuss speaking or volunteer opportunities, please contact Estha Madeira, Executive Director at emadeira@Rehemaforkids.org
3. Project with a purpose
Come visit our In Step Childrenās Home Campus and see how our staff and volunteer missionaries ensure each rescued child receives the love, care, food, housing, medical attention, activities and education needed to reach his or her full potential. (add an optional Safari Excursion!)
Bring a team and share a once in a lifetime opportunity to serve kids!

Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
