[TRANSCRIPT] My name is Sheri Nangala and I’ve been at In Step for 12 years. I’m excited because I’m going to university and I’m continuing with my studies, you know, to get my career. My favorite memories is when we are all together and we spend time together with all the kids and mom and dad. My dream is to live a purposeful life. A life that honors God and blesses others and lives a remarkable legacy in this world. The support of Mama Carla and Baba Jeff and the ministry it has helped me to always never give up in life and to continue just going on and pushing on with life since I have education and that’s the main thing. So I always tell myself let me just do the best out of me. There was a time in life, yeah, I felt like I did not belong in this world, but the word of God kept me going. When I read the Bible and see God has good plans for my life. So, I always told myself that I’m someone great. Even though my identity is this way, it will not define who I’ll be in future. The valuable lesson I’ve learned in In Step is to always do good to others and help those who are suffering and always encourage other people when they are in their lows in life. Since everybody deserves in this life, everyone deserve to be treated great. Even though you are facing circumstances that are not good but you deserve to live in this life. So it’s just right to foster everyone to continue with life. When God bless me to have a good job. I just want my life also to help other people who are suffering and to give hope to those people who think their life will never continue or their life that’s that’s all they have in life. I want to give them hope in life to make sure they understand that living in a children’s home doesn’t mean you’re not going to make it in life or you’re not someone those supporting In Step. I just want to thank them for giving all the support to us and may God just bless them since it’s not easy for someone to sacrifice his own life and for someone else, you know.
